J. Kou Vang has been President and CEO of JB Vang since September of 2002. Before joining JB Vang, he was Vice President at Western Bank in Saint Paul and served as CFO at the Neighborhood Development Center.

Actively engaged in community service, Kou has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including the Minnesota Hmong Chamber of Commerce (as a founding member), the Midway and Saint Paul Chambers of Commerce, the RiverCenter Board of Commissioners, HOPE Community Academy, United Way, and Dayton's Bluff Community Council.

Kou is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a degree in Economics and a focus on financial models.
